Since its formation in 1992, the Louisiana Rural Health Association has been a leader in providing educational and advocacy opportunities relating to rural health for its membership.

Programming is designed to enhance the professional skills of rural health professionals and keep them abreast of the latest legislative and health care issues. The Association offers a wide variety of continuing education topics including fundraising, recruitment, health care reform, and reimbursement to name just a few. LRHA provides CEUs and discounted fees for its membership.

Membership is composed of individuals and organizations interested in making a difference in the quality of the health care delivery system for Louisiana's rural citizens.

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors which represents a diverse group of professionals and consumers, as well as parishes and regions of Louisiana. View a list of LRHA Board Members.
